OUR VALUES

WE VALUE PEOPLE

We value being available and responsive.  We value acceptance and forgiveness.  We value humility.  We are a safe place.  We value confidentiality and trust.  We value love and compassion.  We work 1-on-1 and shoulder-to-shoulder with people.  We encourage and affirm people.  We see potential and value in every individual and believe God can use everyone.  We desire to see people set free.  We value the love of God in our relationships.

WE VALUE ONENESS

(John 17:20-23)

Christ called us to be one with Him.  Because we are loved by God just as He loves Jesus, we are able to love others.  We see Christ as the Living Word.  We value the Bible and the wisdom it provides.  We rely on God completely and trust the Holy Spirit to lead us.  Because of being one with Christ, we value the Fruit of the Spirit as we believe it demonstrates and glorifies Christ.  We value being Holy Spirit-empowered and believe it makes ministry more effective.  We believe Oneness with Christ keeps us grace-filled and relevant.

WE VALUE STEWARDSHIP

Because of our Oneness with Christ, we are responsible and we pay attention to our resources and are steadfast to protect those things entrusted to our care.  We value our unique contribution to God's ministry so we manage our time well.  We have healthy boundaries to keep our ministry sustainable.  We value our donors, so we welcome oversight and accountability as a way to steward donor and board relationships.  We value our clients, their stories, both past, present and future.

WE VALUE EFFECTIVENESS

We will regularly and systematically ask, "is this moving us toward our vision?" and "is this aligned with our mission and values?"  We healthfully focus on outcomes and results because they reveal our movement toward our vision.  We value being relevant to our clients.  We value impacting/influencing our community, our world.  We desire to be beneficial to the Body of Christ.  We value increase, growth, fruit.
